They no longer accept new enrollments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"about-pulse-power\">About Pulse Power<\/h2>\n\n\n<p><strong>Pulse Power<\/strong>, based in The Woodlands, Texas, was founded in 2018 and was one of the newer Texas retailers. Following Pulse Power&#8217;s rapid growth and solid customer-focused strategy, Shell Energy acquired them in April 2021. Shell Energy exited the retail electricity business in 2024 and sold their Texas electricity customers to NRG Energy. Pulse Power customers are now served by Discount Power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\">Pulse Power no longer accepts new enrollments and the brand is no longer marketed anywhere.
