Energy Usage Calculation Formula
A calculator tool is easy to use, but sometimes you need to know the formula.
Daily kWh Used = (Watts x Hours Used) / 1000 watts/kw
Use the appliance label to find the wattage of the device. If a range is listed, use the higher number in your calculation. If the appliance label does not include wattage, you can calculate it using Amps x Voltage.
