Our Energize Your Education Scholarship 2024 rewards you for making a positive difference in your community. You could win a $500 scholarship towards your college education.
Scholarship Requirements
- High school senior, planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college degree program in the United States in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.
- Minimum of a 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Resident of Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania or Connecticut.
Scholarship Application Deadline
Scholarship entry must be submitted by 11:59pm on May 1, 2024.
Scholarship Notification Date
Our scholarship winner will be notified by May 9, 2024.

Energize Your Education Scholarship Guidelines:
One prize of $500 will be awarded to a single winner selected by the Award Sponsor. The winner will be notified by phone call and/or email. The winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release which must be returned within five (5) days of date of notification. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within five (5) days may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner.
Winning submission will be selected based on:
- Academic performance (25%)
- Quality/content of submission (25%)
- Demonstrated community impact (50%)
The Energize Your Education Scholarship is sponsored by Cypress Capital Ventures, LLC (“Award Sponsor”), parent company of ElectrictyPlans.com. The decisions of the Award Sponsor regarding the selection of winner and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects.

Cypress Capital Ventures and/or ElectricityPlans.com are not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction or other issue.

Employees of Cypress Capital Ventures, LLC and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and persons living in the same households of each such employee (whether related or not), and employees of competitive electricity shopping sites and their immediate family members are not eligible.
