ElectricityPlans® is an independent energy comparison shopping site. We provide a unique set of electricity shopping tools and content to help consumers shop for electricity in deregulated markets.
We don’t charge customers for our services. This includes our PlanScan service, where we provide Texas deregulated electricity customers with recommendations based their actual monthly usage.
The work on our site is paid for by our partners that pay for advertising services. We receive compensation from these partners when a customer enrolls in a service or product by clicking on certain links or calling a unique toll free phone number posted on our site.
Effective January 2026, providers are no longer able to secure Featured Plans placement via sponsorships. This helps ensure that we remove bias from our recommendations.
ElectricityPlans offers a large variety of products and services, but we do not have every offer available to customers in the deregulated markets that we serve. Additional terms and conditions as outlined by the provider may exist on the products and services offered on our site.
