With Champ Saver 6 you will lock in a competitive fixed electricity rate for 6 months. This is a simple, low fixed-rate energy plan that makes sense for practically everybody. This plan requires a credit check and may require a deposit.
If you have solar panels, you may add solar buyback to this plan by contacting Champion Energy. You will receive the real time price of energy (RTP) for excess power sold on to the grid.
This plan is eligible for Champion Energy's solar buyback program. Customers with installed solar panels can receive solar credits for excess generation based on real-time wholesale pricing, which is set by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
You will receive a renewal agreement at least 30 days prior to the end of your contract period that will include all available renewal options. If you do not renew with Champion Energy or select another electricity provider before the end of the contract term, Champion Energy will continue to provide electric service to you on a variable rate month-to-month plan.
