On March 17, 2022, Think Energy’s parent company, ENGIE, announced that Think Energy is up for sale. If you choose them as your electricity company, your electricity contract will eventually be sold to another electricity provider. In these type of transactions, your contract rate is honored with the new company.
On December 13, 2022 Energywell, LLC announced the completion of its acquisition of ENGIE Retail, LLC d/b/a Think Energy and entered into a Preferred Supplier Agreement with ENGIE Energy Marketing to purchase wholesale electricity and support customer growth.
