About Pulse Power
Pulse Power has temporarily suspended all new enrollments. They will continue to serve existing customers and contract renewals.
Pulse Power, based in The Woodlands, Texas, was founded in 2018 and is one of the newer Texas retailers. While the company may be newer, its management team has been involved with several successful retail electricity providers.
Following Pulse Power’s rapid growth and solid customer-focused strategy, Shell Energy acquired them in April 2021.
Their commitment is to provide convenient, affordable and hassle-free electricity plans that fit you and your lifestyle. They work at keeping things simple so selecting your electricity plan is fast and easy. And they provide tools that help you manage your electricity bill.

Electricity Plan Offers
Pulse Power offers their rates as an “all-in” bundled rate that includes both electricity and delivery in one price. This makes your electricity bill simple to understand. The only way your rate will change during the term of the agreement is if the delivery fees change, up or down.
Here are some of their electricity plan offers:
Texas Fixed 12 is Pulse Power’s most popular fixed rate plan.
Texas Fixed 24 and Texas Fixed 36 are longer term fixed rate contracts. Currently these are cheaper than short term contracts.
Pulse Power Free Energy Weekends is their free electricity plan that gives you free weekends from 8 PM Friday until 5:59 AM on Monday. This plan is great for people who travel during the week.
Pulse Power Free Energy Nights is their free electricity plan that gives you free nights, every night from 8 PM until 5:59 AM. Great for night owls!
